WORLD, Aug 18 (YPA) – The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) confirmed on Friday that it would continue relief and humanitarian work in Yemen despite the danger to humanitarian workers.
The remarks came on the occasion of the World Humanitarian Day, with the theme of #NoMatterWhat, as declared by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
“We will continue to do everything we can to support those most in need in #Yemen-no matter who, no matter where, #NoMatterWhat,” OCHA tweeted.

Since the beginning of this year, 62 humanitarian workers have been killed in several places around the world, and 84 others have been injured.
It should be noted that several humanitarian and relief workers were killed by armed factions affiliated with the Saudi-led coalition, the latest of which was on July 21, when the director of the World Food Program office in Taiz governorate, Muayad Hamidi, was shot dead by coalition gunmen in the city of Al-Turbah.
