OCCUPIED PALESTINE, May 23 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces today blew up the house of the slain Palestinian youth Mutaz Khawaja in the village of Ni’lin, west of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, after a siege lasted more than four hours, amid clashes with Palestinian youths.
According to Palestinian sources, a large Zionist military unit consisting of 50 vehicles raided Ni’lin late at night, surrounded a number of houses, including Khawaja’s building, and forced its residents out before proceeding to detonate it.
As a result, confrontations sparked between Palestinian youths and occupation soldiers, who fired live bullets and sound and toxic gas bombs, injuring two people in the hand and shoulder.
The targeted house is located on the second floor of a residential building consisting of four floors. It’s 120 square meters in area and is inhabited by five people.
The martyr Mutaz Khawaja (23 years old) carried out a shooting attack on Dizengoff street in the city of “Tel Aviv” on March 9, which resulted in the death of a settler and the injury of 2 others, before occupation forces shot and killed him.
