Russian President: It is important to protect the rights and security of residents of new territories

WORLD, Jan. 12 (YPA) – Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed the need to do everything possible to protect the constitutional rights and security of the inhabitants of the new Russian territories in Donbass.

Congratulating the staff of the Attorney General’s Office on their professional leave, the President noted that the fight against extremism and corruption, the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs and the protection of the environment remains key areas of work.

“Of course, it is important to help the complex and comprehensive work of integrating new regions of Russia into the country’s unified legal space, and to do everything to protect constitutional rights and the safety and security of people living here,” Putin said.
