WORLD, Jan. 12 (YPA) – The US authorities said that a corrupted file have caused a malfunction in the pilot notification system, due to which domestic flights were suspended, according to preliminary information.
The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) wrote in a statement via Twitter: “Our initial work attributed the malfunction to a corrupted file in the database,” stressing that “at this time, there is no evidence of a cyber-attack” targeting the system.
“We are working hard to continue to identify the causes of this issue and take all necessary steps to prevent this type of malfunction from happening again.”
