Hajjah condemns kidnapping of fishermen by coalition

HAJJAH, Nov. 10 (YPA) – Local authority in Hajjah has condemned the kidnapping of six fishermen from Medi district of the province by Saudi-led coalition forces.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the authority considered the kidnapping of fishermen from the beaches of Buhais area of the district while they were fishing, a crime added to the criminal record of the US-backed coalition against Yemen and its people.

The statement indicated these criminal practices by the coalition aimed to increase the suffering of Yemenis and starve them, stressing that these crimes will only grow up the steadfastness of the people in the face of the coalition and its arrogance.

It held the international community and the United Nations responsible for the coalition’s persistence in committing its crimes against the Yemeni people for nearly eight years.
