HADRAMOUT, June 18 (YPA) – Elements loyal to the coalition kidnapped the head of a media platform affiliated with the Tribal Alliance in Hadramout Governorate, eastern Yemen, on Wednesday.
A human rights source confirmed that armed elements affiliated with the so-called “Command and Control” loyal to the coalition, kidnapped the head of the Al-Ahqaf Media Platform, Muzahim Bajaber, and took him to an unknown location.
The source stated that Bajaber’s kidnapping came against the backdrop of his posts denouncing the collapse of services and living conditions in the governorate, amid accusations against the leader Faisal Badbis of being behind the incident.
This comes after elements of the UAE factions stormed the home of activist Ali Al-Yazidi in Mukalla yesterday, against the backdrop of a call to carry out an open sit-in tomorrow, Thursday, to protest the power outage that lasts for more than 15 hours a day.
