Russia: We do not have any ambitions in the military operation in Ukraine

WORLD, Jul. 20 (YPA) – The Russian Embassy in Washington said US officials’ allegations of “annexation” of territory liberated from Ukraine confirm their desire to fuel the conflict.

In a statement on its Telegram channel, the Embassy added: “The allegations of an occupation nature of the Russian special military operation are fundamentally false.

“The allegations regarding the supposed nature of the Russian special military operation are fundamentally false.We restore peace in  liberated lands, create conditions for a normal life and observe the equal rights of citizens, regardless of race and language.”

The Embassy stated that these insinuations confirmed the intention of the United States to “fuel” the conflict for as long as possible.

Earlier, the United States threatened to tighten sanctions against Russia and try to weaken its military capabilities if Moscow decided to “annex” liberated territory in Ukraine.
