SHABWA, Juue.08 (YPA) – A vendor was wounded on Wednesday when the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias stormed a popular market and opened fire in the Shabwa oil province, eastern Yemen.
According to human rights sources, the militias stormed the Ataq Central Market and shot the vendors with the aim of expelling them from the market.
The militia had arrested and imprisoned a number of vendors or sellers in its own prisons, and evacuated others by force of arms to one of the commercial markets belonging to an influential person close to Shabwa governor backed by the UAE.
