Third military commander loyal to STC dies in Dhalea

DHALEA, May 09 (YPA) – A senior military commander affiliated with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia has died, days after two prominent military leaders were killed in Dhalea province, southern Yemen.

Pro-coalition media reported that Brigadier General  Saif Shayef Hussein, head of military operations for the so-called  Dhalea Combat axis belonging to Saudi-led coalition , died after a horrific traffic accident.

Shayef was in a convoy accompanied by the commander of the coalition’s 4th Military Region, Major General Fadl Hassan, were heading towards Dhalea to offer condolences to the families of the two commanders were killed in al-Qaeda attack militants in the province.

The fate of the commander of the 4th Military Region, Major General Fadl Hassan, remains unknown.
