American activists prevent unloading of 2 Israeli ships

WASHINGTON, Jul. 31 (YPA) – American activists succeeded in preventing a cargo ship operated by a Haifa-based company from unloading its cargo in Elizabeth Port, New Jersey, a few days ago because of its association with the Israeli apartheid regime.

This step came days after the success of an attempt by other activists to prevent an Israeli ship from unloading its cargo in the Oakland region on the west coast of the United States.

“Munduis” website reported that the steps are part of the global “Block the Boat” campaign, to show solidarity with the Palestinian people and prevent Israeli ships from unloading around the world.
