DHAMAR, May 25 (YPA) – Three girls died as they drowned in a dam in Dhawran district Dhamar province on Tuesday, according to Yemeni Civil Defense Authority.
The authority said the girls, aged between 12-20, drowned when one of them fell in the dam and the others tried to help her, in which all eventually drowned to death.
It managed to retrieve three bodies of girls who drowned in al-Ar Dam in the district.
The authority renewed its warning to all citizens against swimming in dams, water barriers, which are not suitable for swimming in order to preserve their lives, and to take caution while approaching dams.
