Army kills dozens of coalition militias in Jizan

JIZAN, May 28 (YPA) – Dozens of coalition-backed militias were killed and others injured when the Yemeni army repelled an offensive towards Jizan province on Monday, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The killed were targeted in Qais mountain.

The army’s artillery fired towards gatherings of the militias to foil  the  attack despite of air cover of the coalition air forces to back their militias.

Meanwhile, nine militias were killed by the army off Dukhan mountain and al-Mustahdath site.
