Al-Qassam Brigades release video of attack on Zionist forces in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood

GAZA, Aug. 19 (YPA) – As part of the “Stones of David” series of operations, Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas military wing, released video of confronting enemy forces penetrating the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.

The video includes a message of one of Al-Qassam fighters stated: “This operation comes, God willing, in light of the escalating threats of the Zionist enemy towards our people and our beloved Strip, to tell them, with a full mouth and a clear word, here we are, from your front and from behind you, and there will be nothing in God’s possession except what God wills.

 

According the video, the operation began with the surveillance of two houses where an Israeli special force was reportedly positioned.

The footage then shows Al-Qassam fighters targeting a troop carrier with a Yassin 105 anti-tank shell, resulting in an explosion within the vehicle’s cabin.

It also shows the targeting of reinforcement forces that arrived on the scene. Later in the engagement, fighters targeted a tank near the Doula Junction and detonated explosive devices planted in the path of advancing Israeli vehicles.

The video concludes by showing the withdrawal of what the group claims are destroyed Israeli military vehicles from the area.

Finally, Al-Qassam fighter concluded his message by stating: “O men, we say one thing, O comrades, do not forget it: some responsibilities are a divine selection. And God does not use in His path except those who are pure. We know that the battle is difficult, O men. Know well that God does not give the hardest battles except to His strongest soldiers. So go forth, O men, with the blessing of God.”
