Report: Army inflicts heavy casualties on coalition militias in battle fronts

SANAA, May 28 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Monday inflicted heavy casualties upon the coalition-backed militias in the battle fronts in several provinces over the past 24 hours, killing dozens, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

In Taiz, dozens of the militias were killed and others wounded in the army’s attacks in the western coast front and al-Wazaih district.

In also Taiz, the army destroyed five military vehicles of the militias in the western coast front.

In Asir, dozens of the militias were killed and others wounded when the Yemeni army repelled an attack towards Alib crossing point.

In Jizan, scores of the coalition militias were killed and others injured when the army repelled an offensive towards Qais mountain.

In Hajjah, the army foiled an attack of the militias towards Medi desert, killing and wounding dozens of the militias.
