Cold weather expected to continue within coming 24 hours

SANAA, Feb.1 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expects on Monday that weather would be cold in most Yemeni province within the next 24 hours.

In its weather forecast, the center affirmed that the very cold weather would prevail over the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda and Dhalea.

The center added that the other provinces might be relatively cold such as Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout, Jawf, and Marib, with the lowest temperatures range between 06-12 m during the night and early morning hours.

The winds will be very active on the southern parts of the western coasts and Bab al-Mandab, reaching more than 26 knots and disturbing the sea, the NCM added.

The center warned citizens and farmers the mountainous provinces take the necessary precautions to face the cold weather
