Frost wave expected within 24 hours: NCM

SANAA, Jan. 27 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected that a frost wave would hit several Yemeni province within the next 24 hours.

The center expected in its air bulletin on Wednesday, that the wave will be very cold on the higher parts of the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda and Dhalea.

The center pointed out that the cold weather in general includes the hilltops in Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout, Jawf and Marib province.

The winds will be very strong in the southern parts of the western coast and Bab al-Mandab, reaching it speed to more than 24 knots.

The center warned citizens, especially the elderly, children, sick people, workers, as well as farmers, herders and beekeepers, during the night and early morning hours, in the mountainous provinces, to take the necessary precautions against the cold weather.
