Police seize great amount of illegal currency in Taiz

TAIZ, Dec. 26 (YPA) – Yemen’s Police seized on Saturday a great amount of illegal local currency in Taiz province, according to a security official.

The official said about 652,000 Yemen riyals of the Saudi-led coalition-printed illegal currency was the districts of Al-Taiziyah and Dimnat Khadir,in an attempt to destroy harming the national economy.

The illegal currency was seized with six people, according to the official.
