Woman kidnapped from her father’s house at gunpoint in Aden

ADEN, Nov. 05 (YPA) – A woman was kidnapped at gunpoint from her father’s house by militias of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) in the port city of Aden, southern Yemen, a local source reported on Thursday.

The source explained that the STC’s militia elements raided at dawn on Wednesday the citizen’s home in ‘Kabota’ area of Al-Mansoura district and took one of his daughters by force to an unknown destination, without mentioning the reasons.

Among those who stormed the citizen’s house was his daughter’s ex-husband, the source added, noting that Kabota’s police station, which is run by the STC militia, did not take any actions regarding this crime.
