ADEN, Nov. 5 (YPA) – The UAE-backed southern transitional council (STC)’s militias closed on Thursday several commercial shops for the second day in a row in Aden province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.
The sources said that the process of closing the shops continues in Sheikh Othman district, because their owners changed the tiles in front of their shops and discarded the previous tiles.
A fine of 150,000 riyals has been imposed for any commercial store that wants to open its shop again, the sources added.
The source confirmed that shops were closed again under the directives of the transitional authority in the governorate.
