Al-Subaihi assassinated inside Shabwa camp

SHABWA, June 26 (YPA) – A recruit from the Al-Subaiha tribe of Lahj had been subjected to a mysterious assassination attempt inside a camp of the UAE-backed armed factions in Shabwa province, southeastern Yemen.

Human rights sources in Shabwa said that the Issa Ali Saeed Al-Aghbari Al-Subaihi, the recruit in the “Shabwa Defense Support” factions was shot on Wednesday by his camp fellow.

Al-Subaihi was targeted by a bodyguard of the leader of the support factions, Ahmed Hadi al-Mashriqi al-Dhalei, after being accused of malicious charges, without any clarification from the faction leaders about the incident, the sources added.

The assassination of conscript Al-Subaihi was met with angry reactions from activists of Al-Subaiha tribes on social media, who asserted that the sheikhs of the Al-Subaiha tribe would take a firm stance against the crime.
