Gaza’s death toll exceeds 188,000, with warnings of health, humanitarian disaster

GAZA, June 26 (YPA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip confirmed on Thursday that the death toll from the Israeli genocide has risen to 56,259, while the number of wounded has reached 132,458 since October 7, 2023.

The ministry explained in its daily statistical report that among the victims are approximately 5,936 martyrs and 20,417 wounded, who occurred after the occupation reneged on the ceasefire agreement on March 18.

The report indicated that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 103 martyrs and 219 wounded in the past 24 hours, while a number of victims remain under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulances and civil defense crews.
