Zionist analysts: War in Gaza must end immediately

OCCUPIED QUDS, June 26 (YPA) – The destruction of two Israeli occupation armored personnel carriers and the killing of seven soldiers in Gaza caused a major shock within the Zionist entity.

Experts there pointed to the Israeli occupation army’s poor equipment and strategic errors that made soldiers easy targets.

The incident resonated widely in the Israeli media, where politicians and analysts described it as a heavy loss. Netanyahu described the day as “difficult,” while Herzog described it as “painful.” Despite the army’s initial attempts to conceal details of the operation, Al-Jazeera TV channel confirmed the explosion in the Ma’an area, showing the burning of an armored vehicle, its commander, and six soldiers.

Analysts pointed to the dangers of using outdated vehicles and the lack of support for specialized units. Controversy also erupted regarding the war in Gaza and its objectives. Gafni criticized current policies, calling for an end to the war and the return of prisoners. Tibon warned that soldiers were becoming fixed targets, pointing to the danger of sinking into the “Gaza swamp” after losing 20 soldiers in two weeks.

Former military leaders also stressed the need to end the war quickly to prevent the situation from escalating into a greater catastrophe. Uri Misgav wrote in Haaretz that the only solution to restore normal life is to end the fighting and care for the prisoners and soldiers who are being deliberately sacrificed.
