STC kidnaps religious preacher after storming Aden mosque

ADEN, June 26 (YPA) – Members of the UAE-backed southern Transitional Council (STC) stormed on Thursday a mosque in Aden city, south of Yemen.

Local sources said the STC’s masked men opened fire inside Omar Ibn Al-Khattab Mosque in Mansoura district and took the religious man, Mohammed Al-Kazemi, to an unknown location while performing the dawn prayer with citizens.

Citizens were unaware of any information that the gunmen kidnaping Al-Kazemi, amidst the state of security chaos that Aden city has gripped since the beginning of 2016, during which dozens of imams, preachers, military, security, and local figures have been assassinated and kidnapped.
