Zakat Authority distributes emergency aid to those affected by floods in Saada

SANAA, Sep. 13 (YPA) – The Office of the General Authority for Zakat in Saada province on Sunday launched the distribution of emergency cash and in-kind assistance to those affected by the floods in Saada district under the slogan “Zakat in its legally-specified purposes”.

During the inauguration, Director of the Awareness and Media Department at the Authority, Abdullah Hatem, explained that this aid comes within the emergency response project implemented by the General Authority for Zakat in the provinces to help those affected by the rain and torrents.
