SANAA, Aug. 7 (YPA) – The leader of the Lebanese resistance, Hassan Nasrallah, commented on Friday on the explosion that hit Beirut Port and the economic and humanitarian catastrophe.
Nasrallah affirmed in his televised speech, saying, We are facing a major catastrophe in the humanitarian and national sense, as well as the humanitarian consequences and great social and economic repercussions due to the tragic incident.
Nasrallah offered feelings of his condolence and sympathy to all the families of the martyrs, pointing out that the explosion was a cross-sectarian regions of Lebanon.
He continued by saying: “We have seen great sympathy at the worldwide level, and the most prominent was the French President’s visit to provide every assistance and sympathy with Lebanon, especially in the framework of the call for reunification among the Lebanese.”
He pointed out that the external scene is positive step and an opportunity for Lebanon to get out of the state of siege and intensity facing Lebanese people.
Nasrallah stressed on the impotence of transparent investigation and fair punishment for those who caused this disaster without protection for anyone and any partisan or sectarian accounts.
