STC’s militias capture commander loyal to Islah in Abyan

ABYAN, June 20 (YPA) – Commander of the so-called” Ataq Axis” and commander of the 115th Infantry Brigade Aziz Nasser, loyal to Islah Party, was captured on Saturday by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias in Abyan province, southern Yemen.

Sources confirmed that Nasser was taken prisoner by the STC’s militias during the armed confrontations at Qarn al-Klassi front near the coastal city of Shoqra in the province.

The STC militias took control of six sites of Islah, including the highest hill in Qarn al-Klassi, according to the sources.

The sources added that a number of pro-STC media personnel were wounded while covering the confrontations.
