UAE-backed council admits inability to run Aden

ADEN, Nov. 26 (YPA) – The UAE’s Southern Transitional Council (STC) on Tuesday has admitted its inability to run Aden and other provinces under the control of its militias.

The Assistant Secretary-General of the Council’s Presidency explained that the land- seizure of lands and public property, empty spaces and park spaces in Aden were caused by the collapse and the absence of the state.

Fadhl Al-Ja’adi said the land issues are time bombs in Aden, and the southern issue in general, and this is a clear evident in the attacks on monuments, installations, museums, research centers and others, According to the Aden News Agency.

He indicated that the chaos and the absence of the state have encouraged corruption not only that but also forging documents, as is the case today in the southern provinces.

Aden and the rest of the southern provinces are in unprecedented security chaos, under armed militias backed by the UAE and Saudi Arabia occupations  controlling the situation in those provinces since the second half of 2015.
