Zionist enemy arrests, injures dozens of Palestinians in West Bank, al-Qudas

SANAA, Aug. 28 (YPA) – The Zionist enemy forces arrested on Wednesday 14 Palestinian citizens during a campaign of raid in different governorates of the West Bank, while a number of citizens were injured during the storming of enemy forces to the neighborhoods of the town of Issawiya east of al-Qudas.

Palestinian sources reported that the enemy forces arrested a young man from the town of Tuqu ‘, southeast of Bethlehem, and another from Aida refugee camp in the north, after they raided and searched their homes.

Dozens of citizens were also injured by tear gas on Tuesday night during their incursion into Beit Ummar and Hebron.

The media activist in Beit Ummar, Muhammad Awad, said that the enemy forces stormed the house of a citizen and searched it and tampered with its contents, during their withdrawal from the area, clashes broke out with the youths.

He added: “Dozens of citizens were suffocated by tear gas.”

In the same context, Israeli forces invaded Jabal al-Rahma and Jabal Abu Rumman in Hebron and fired sound bombs and poison gas at the residents, causing a number of youths suffocating.

In the east al-Qudas, on Tuesday evening, a number of citizens, including a woman, were injured in an attack by enemy forces during their incursion into the neighborhoods of Issawiya.

According to the sources, a woman was hit by shrapnel in the eye of her vehicle as a result of the enemy firing indiscriminately at the residents.

At the same time, Israeli soldiers surrounded the area of ​​Al-Arbaeen Mosque in the town and clashed with the citizens, assaulting them with batons and firing sound bombs and rubber-coated bullets, wounding a number of citizens.
