10 killed, wounded in armed attack in Mali

SANAA, Aug. 28 (YPA) – Three soldiers were killed and seven others wounded late on Tuesday in an armed attack in central Mali.

According to Sputnik agency, the Malian army said, in a statement, on Wednesday the unit of the Malian army was the victim of an armed attack preceded by an explosion in the areas of Duinza and Homburi,”in the center of the country.

“During this attack three soldiers were killed and seven others were injured, and a military vehicle was destroyed, while a gunman was found dead at the scene.”

It was the second armed attack in Mali in about a month.

Five Malian soldiers were killed Wednesday in central Mali in an ambush by gunmen, according to the Malian armed forces.
