#Yemen condemns Int’l community’s silence towards coalition crimes
SANAA, April 8 (YPA) – Yemen’s Foreign Ministry on Monday strongly condemned the international community’s silence towards the war crimes and violations committed by Saudi-led coalition against the Yemeni people.
In a statement, the ministry said that the coalition air strikes on residential area in Sawan square in the capital Sanaa is a war crime and flagrant violations of international humanitarian law.
“Aggressive coalition fighter jets have been launching more than a quarter of a million air raids since March 26,2015, killing, injuring more than 41 thousand citizens, including women and children, and destroying tens of thousands of service facilities of the Yemeni people,” added the ministry.
The statement called on the international community called for the full responsibility for moving to pressure on the coalition states to stop crimes and end the war imposed on the Yemeni people.
