Army spokesman: Over 50 militants killed and injured over the past 4 days

SANAA, Feb. 5 (YPA) – Dozens of US-Saudi-Emirati militants have been killed and wounded by the Yemeni army forces on various fronts over the past four days, The Yemeni Army spokesman Brigadier Yahya  Sarei reported.

According to the  Army spokesman,  over the past 4 days, the Yemeni army  has carried out six offensives on enemy positions, including an attack on  Wadi Jarah in front of  Jizan,  several  positions in Raqabat Raqa’a  tower, Qemboura Village and east of  Qimah village were controlled

He confirmed that the enemy and his militants suffered extensive loss of life and material, with more than 46 mercenaries killed and injured in the area of Razih and infront of  Gais Mountain.

Three militants were killed in sniping attack in Astor front of Jawf province, three other east of Dood mountain and three others in Shaja’a area while another one in Jizan region, he added.

The air defenses of the Yemeni army shot down a reconnaissance aircraft in Wadi Jarara in Jizan, two calibre machine guns were damaged in Azhur area of Razih district, and destroying several military vehicles on several fronts, he concluded.
