Army spokesman: Army carries out large-scale attack, controls 6+ km in Haradh

HAJJAH, Feb. 5 (YPA) – Spokesman of the Yemen army, Yahya Sarei, said late on Monday that the army carried out a large-scale offensive against site of coalition’s militias in Haradh front of Hajjah province.

Sarei confirmed that the army forces controlling more than six km2, killing and injuring dozens of the militias.

Sarei said that the army took over stratigic Husnain mount, Hawtala,Shaab- Nabea and nearby military sites.

The spokesman added that the offensive was lasted for 7 hours and the militias were supported by coalition’s airstrikes of Apache helicopters and warplanes without achieving any progress on the ground.
