Hamas: ‘US administration is partner in genocidal war on Gaza’

GAZA, Aug. 16 (YPA) – Hamas movement accused on Saturday the US administration of providing political and military cover for the Israeli occupation, allowing its aggression against the Gaza Strip to continue for the twenty-second consecutive month.

The movement said in a statement that the crimes the occupation army’s committing would not have continued without “the green light given by Washington to war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu”, holding the US administration direct responsibility for the ongoing genocidal war against the Palestinians.

The statement called on the international community, including the United Nations and its institutions, as well as Arab and Islamic countries, to end the “square of silence” and take practical steps to halt the fascist crime, which aims to achieve the “Greater Israel” project.

It also called on Arab and Islamic peoples and the peoples of the free world to take to the streets and squares and organize a broad popular movement to reject Israeli crimes and massacres, and to support Gaza, in order to pressure the occupation to halt its ongoing war against civilians.
