SANAA, Jan. 16 (YPA) -The head of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, has stressed that the Saudi-led aggression countries should comply with political solutions in Yemen rather than engaging in escalation and continued blockade of the country.
“After the Gulf States rushed to open their embassies in Syria, where the plot to fragment the country has failed, I do not think it is worthwhile today to continue the forgotten war in Yemen with its ally [the US] that has quickly announced its withdrawal from Syria,” Mohammed al-Houthi wrote on social media.
Two weeks ago, US President Donald Trump announced the withdrawal of US troops from Syria, while the Gulf countries previously involved in the aggression against Syria have taken the initiative to renew thier relationship with the Syrian government of President Bashar al-Assad.
