5 southern prominent commanders killed, wounded in western coast during past week

ADEN, Nov. 12 (YPA) – The death toll from southern commanders fighting alongside with Saudi-led coalition has risen during the recent escalation on western coast to five commanders, while hundreds of soldiers were killed and wounded, military sources told Yemen Press Agency on Monday.

According to field sources, Southerners have lost 4 prominent leaders and one was injured over the past week in the western coast of Yemen, and their names as the following:

  •  Aseel al-Mansri is a battalion commander in the First Brigade Giants.
  •  Aboud Salem al-Radfani is a battalion commander of the 20th Infantry Brigade followed by Haitham Qasim.
  • Colonel Mohammed al-Yazidi, is an officer in the First Amaliqa brigade and a commander in Al-Mehdhar Brigade in Jabaliah district.
  • Asil al-Yaf’i is a battalion commander in the Third Amiliqa Brigade.
  • Abu Ali al-Dhali is a commander of the 12th Amiliqa Brigade was wounded in Faza.

Over 50 dead and wounded people were transported on Sunday afternoon to Al-Makha hospital, one of the sources said.
