Bonyan Foundation distributes 400 food baskets to Durahemi IDPs in Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Sep. 24 (YPA) – Bonyan Development Foundation on Monday distributed 400 food baskets for displaced people from the of Durahmi district of Hodeidah province.

During the distribution, the distribution team leader in the program of the rich of the Foundation, Yahya Obaid said that the distribution of the baskets comes from the Foundation’s concern for the humanitarian situation of displaced families and a sense of responsibility towards them to alleviate their suffering.

Obaid pointed to the double displacement of people in search of safer areas due to the worsening humanitarian situation and insecurity in the areas of the coalition force presence in the districts of Western Coast.

He explained that the rapid field survey coincides with the displacement operations at first and at a high pace.

Bonyan Foundation had earlier distributed about 1,000 food baskets to displaced families from Durahmi as a quick response to address the difficult humanitarian situation of displaced families.
