Yemeni army inflects heavy losses on Saudi troops in Asir

ASIR, Aug. 13 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Monday launched several attacks on Saudi troops in Asir region, inflecting heavy losses on them, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The missile and artillery units of the army repelled an infiltration of Saudi forces backed by the warplanes near Alib crossing in the region, which left dozens of dead and wounded in ranks of Saudi army, as well as several burned military vehicles.

The artillery force also bounded a new military site of the Saudi-led coalition in al-Rabua’h area, while the army snipers shot dead a Saudi solider in Raqabat Qashba in the same area, the official added.
