ASIR, Aug. 12 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Sunday fired artillery and rockets towards gatherings of Saudi and Sudanese soldiers in Asir province, killing and wounding dozens, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
The operation took place in Saudi military sites of Alib crossing point.
Meanwhile, the army took over two Saudi strategic military sites in western Majazah area, destroying two military vehicles and killing their crew members.
The official said that the army’s sniper units shot dead a Saudi soldier in site of Raqabat al-Qashbah.
Since March 26, 2015, the Saudi-led coalition have intervened in Yemen’s sovereignty and internal affairs, and waged a military operating against the Yemeni army and people in flagrant violations of the international conventions.
