Iran: The region will be deprived of air travel if our planes are denied airport services

TEHRAN, Sept. 25 (YPA) – Mohammad Mokhbar, an advisor to the Iranian Supreme Leader, asserted that aligning with Washington’s hostile policies will remain etched in the memory of the Iranian people and that Tehran’s strategy is clear: “Aviation operations in the region will either be open to everyone or to no one.”

He added on the X platform that if Iran is denied the right to fly and airport services, no other country will enjoy the privilege either.

The statements came after countries announced their commitment to the new US sanctions imposed by the Treasury Department on September 8 on 27 Iranian airlines to isolate the sector from the financial system, with a warning that those providing refueling, handling, and sales services to them will be penalized.
