Saudi warplanes launch 54 airstrikes across 5 Yemeni governorates

SANAA, Sept. 14 (YPA) – Saudi warplanes carried out 54 airstrikes over the past 24 hours targeting five Yemeni governorates, according to a statement by a military spokesman.

Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, spokesman for the Sanaa armed forces, said the strikes were executed by F-15 and Typhoon fighter jets taking off from Saudi airbases in Khamis Mushait and Taif.

He added that the raids targeted the governorates of Taiz, Lahj, Jawf, Hajjah, and Marib.
