Senior Sanaa official sends important message to Taiz people

SANAA, Sept. 14 (YAP) – Ansarullah Political Bureau member Salim Al-Maghles sent a direct message of reassurance to the people of Taiz, stressing that Sanaa regards the people of the province, as part of the national fabric and that the priority at the current stage is to protect lives and property, prevent revenge and retaliation, and preserve social unity.

In a message posted on his X account, Al-Maghles said past disputes and positions should not turn into hostility among fellow Yemenis, addressing residents of Taiz’s various districts by saying: “You are our people and our partners in victory. There is no hostility toward any citizen because of his region, circumstances or previous position.”

The Ansarullah official stressed that the current stage requires overcoming the consequences of the conflict and strengthening social cohesion, placing the protection of citizens and their property and preventing any acts of retaliation among the top priorities.

In a message carrying clear political and social dimensions, Al-Maghles said Sanaa’s leadership had opened the way for everyone to return safely and with dignity, including those who had previously fought alongside Saudi Arabia, provided they abandon fighting and benefit from the presidential amnesty.

The message comes amid efforts by Sanaa to emphasize that addressing the repercussions of the conflict in Taiz will not be based on exclusion or revenge, but rather on integrating the province’s residents, preserving social cohesion and opening the way for those wishing to return to the national fold.
