Israeli Navy conducts military exercise simulating attacks on ports and energy facilities

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, Aug. 04 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation navy conducted a large-scale military exercise over the past two days, considered one of the largest naval drills in recent years.

The exercise aimed to simulate multi-front attacks targeting ports, energy facilities, and commercial ships on the coast and in the Red Sea, through the launching of missiles and drones, infiltration attempts, and commando landings.

Missile ships, submarines, naval commando units, and the air force participated and the drills extended from Rosh Hanikra in the north to the port of Ashdod in the south, in addition to the Eilat area in the Red Sea.

The maneuvers come amid escalating tensions with Iran, while the occupation army says they aim to raise readiness and coordination between the naval branches.
