Amnesty International: Indian companies sent over 2,500 arms shipments to “Israel” during Gaza war

LONDON, July 30 (YPA) – “Amnesty International” organization has published an investigation revealing that Indian companies dispatched 2,596 shipments of weapons and ammunition to the Israeli occupation army during the war on Gaza Strip between October 7, 2023, and November 30, 2025.

The report, titled “Made in India: Supplying Weapons and Ammunition to Israel,” warned that New Delhi’s continued exports put it at risk of direct complicity in the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip and in violation of international law.

Investigators tracked the export of at least 390,516 pieces of military-use small arms, as well as the supply of 564,970 units of explosive munitions. These included 155mm high-explosive artillery shells for the Israeli defense company Elbit Systems, along with explosive warheads for SkyStriker loitering munitions (kamikaze drones).

The report further detailed the delivery of 298 armored vehicle components intended for major suppliers of the Israeli military. It identified that among the exporting entities are three companies fully owned and operated by the Indian government.

Agnes Callamard, Secretary General of Amnesty International, stated that Indian authorities cannot claim ignorance of the risks in light of the rulings by the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

Amnesty International urged New Delhi to immediately and comprehensively halt all exports and transfers of weapons and their components from India to the Israeli occupation military.

The organization also called on India to accede to the international Arms Trade Treaty to align its legal framework, and advocated for a complete global arms embargo on all parties to the conflict to prevent further crimes.
