SANAA – The British-made Tornado fighter aircraft of the “enemy” Saudi-led coalition that hit by Yemeni air defense unit on Sunday was crashed over Yemen’s northern province of Saada, at the shared border line with Saudi Arabia, Yemen’s defense ministry official said.
The official dismissed Saudi Arabia’s claims that it carried out a joint search operation to evacuate the pilot and his co-pilot, saying “the pilots ejected themselves and used parachute to land behind border line into enemy Saudi-controlled territory.”
