Yemen fires missile at Saudi warplane over Sanaa

SANAA – Yemen air defense on Monday fired a ground-to-air missile at a Saudi enemy fighter jet while flying over the capital Sanaa, the army said in a statement.

The targeted plane was F-15, said the army.

The missile attack came in less than one day after the Yemeni army successfully shot down another Saudi-led coalition warplane over the northern border province of Saada.
