Citizen survives murder in Mocha

MOCHA, June 22 (YPA) – A citizen was wounded, on Monday, by gunfire from an armed man believed to belong to Tariq Saleh’s factions in the coastal city of Mocha, west of Taiz.

Local sources reported that Abdu Abbas, from the Al-Jumah district, was shot near Al-Ghafari roundabout in the city center, sustained serious injuries and was transferred to the hospital.

The sources confirmed that the identity of the perpetrator and his motives remain unknown amidst the silence of the local authorities, which has angered residents who demanded an urgent investigation and the arrest of the perpetrators.

It should be noted that the coastal areas under Saudi control are witnessing a security breakdown that threatens the lives of citizens daily.
