Iran witnesses nighttime marches in support of Hezbollah

TEHRAN, June 22 (YPA) – Thousands of demonstrators marched through the streets of several Iranian cities late Sunday, expressing solidarity with the Lebanese militant group and political party Hezbollah amid escalating regional tensions.

Carrying flags and banners, participants chanted slogans emphasizing the deep-rooted alliance between Tehran and the Lebanese group. Among the prominent messages displayed during the night-time rallies was the slogan: “We and Hezbollah in Lebanon are in one trench forever.”

State media reported that the marches, which took place in the capital, Tehran, and other major urban centers, were organized to reaffirm Iran’s ideological and logistical commitment to its regional allies.

The demonstrations come at a critical juncture, as cross-border frictions continue to intensify, raising international concerns over a broader conflict. Tehran has consistently maintained its stance of political and strategic backing for Hezbollah, viewing the group as a core component of its regional deterrence strategy.
