Iranian President: “We will not back down from our right to uranium enrichment”

TEHRAN, June 22 (YPA) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Sunday that Tehran will not relinquish its right to enrich uranium.

According to the “Tasnim” news agency, Pezeshkian stated that Iran will not back down from its right to enrich uranium, adding that the other side is obligated to accept this, in a clear reference to the United States.

Pezeshkian pointed out that the American position has witnessed a remarkable shift, explaining that Washington used to demand that the Iranian nuclear program be included in the negotiations, while today it acknowledges Iran’s right to possess its missile capabilities.
