Iran warns “Israel” over continued attacks in southern Lebanon

TEHRAN, June 17 (YPA) – Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, said that the Israeli occupation military had violated the ceasefire in southern Lebanon 84 times over the past two days, despite the US president’s announcement of the end of the war, and had continued its military operations in the area.

In a statement, the headquarters warned of ongoing Israeli military operations in southern Lebanon, saying that the continuation of such actions could trigger a response from the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The statement concluded by saying, “Should the child-killing army of the Zionist regime fail to put an end to its hostile actions in southern Lebanon, it must be prepared to face a harsh response from the powerful armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
