Mysterious fire destroys two trucks at container port in Aden

ADEN, Feb. 03 (YPA) – A massive fire broke out on Tuesday in the customs yard near the Container Port in Al-Mansoura district of Aden province, southern Yemen, resulting in the total destruction of two trucks, and no casualties were reported.

The swift intervention of nearby drivers and civilians played a decisive role in containing the blaze, preventing it from spreading to adjacent vehicles or the port’s vital facilities. Damage remained limited to the significant material losses of the two affected trucks.

Port authorities launched an official investigation and technical assessment to determine the exact circumstances and causes of the incident. While investigations remain ongoing, the cause of the fire has yet to be officially identified.
